Facebook has it set up to where you can’t fully optimize your business page with out this app, but this app has a lot of glitches and errors. One of my biggest pet peeves, it doesn’t alert me when I have messages. I’ve checked and double checked that notifications are turned on, I’ve made sure the app was the current upgrade I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled several times, still nothing. So as a busy business owner I’m now forced to check my messages serval times a day, and are often late replying to messages. I can argue that is money lost. If I was 6-12 hours to write some one back, they have already started googling other options people want things immediate. So it would be nice if I could give them the info they need immediately and close the sale. It also has a lot of errors with showing accurate likes and shares. I occasionally do give aways, and they are impossible to do with out going on a computer, if you do a like and share giveaway the app will show you 300 people shared. But only show you the most recent 20ish. I’m sure some have to do with sharing public vs private but not a majority. I would be very happy with the app if they cleaned up the glitches. The design is great, execution was not.
The app lacks a lot of functionality and is very glitchy. Example, when I view the home screen and try to scroll down, the app glitches and takes me back to the top of the page. This happens several times. Also, when I click on Followers, it only shows 1; but when I check using the computer, I see all of my followers. The app is also slow and can be cumbersome to navigate. There is a lot of functionality that is in the web version using a computer that isn’t available in the app. To some degree, this is understandable however some basic capabilities would be nice to have in the app. I could expand more into things it’s lacking but rather I’ll let the reviews speak for itself. It’s tough for us, the users, because we don’t always have a laptop with us and have to resort to using the app; personally, it’s my last resort. I’ll wrap up with mentioning the constant and relentless push to you as the user to purchase their marketing service (promoting your page). It’s constant and fills up your notifications. Trouble is, unless you click the notification to clear it, you don’t have any other option. So, these never phase out like notifications in the normal FB app but rather stay in there. Once you click on one of them, it’ll bug you later about finishing your page promotion. Very annoying...
**Update April 17, 2019. Every update seems to remove features that are needed to manage pages properly. Now it is no longer possible to invite people to like your page if they interact with a post. Facebook will of course send you that notification telling you to invite them, but it is impossible to do it within the Pages app. FIX YOUR APP. How hard is it!? The notifications bug still persists and the fact that we can’t edit a scheduled post is crazy. This is ridiculous. We are your source of revenue, Facebook. Where’s the love!?**
I love the idea of being able to manage pages from a separate app. Doing it through the main Facebook app is cumbersome. The problem is that this app itself is so buggy. Each update doesn’t seem to actually fix anything. I constantly have notifications that stick and don’t go away. All the time I have inbox notifications that are “fake”, meaning I click on them and there’s nothing there. One of big things that they recently removed is the ability to edit a scheduled post. I can see the list and even reschedule, post immediately, or delete. Why can’t I edit!?!? Please bring back this capability. Overall, Facebook needs to pay better attention to this app and make some serious improvements. We are, after all, the ones who are PAYING them for ads and things.

Another day, another tweak. App Admin lets you go back to the older version of App Store apps. Here’s how you can download and install it on your iPhone or iPad.
App Admin allows you to go back to the older version or build number of any App Store app. It is developed by UnlimApps developer Enea Gjoka.
You can downgrade or upgrade apps, manually input a build number and block future version updates.
Apart from these features, it also comes with a very mature database of versions and build numbers, something which is missing from other similar utilities.
Here’s how it looks like in action.
Although this tool is a bit buggy, we decided to take it for a test drive. We will use Snapchat as a lab rat to demonstrate how the downgrade works.
The installation tutorial is divided into two sections as the downgrade process is different for installed and new apps.
Step 1 Go to the App Store and open the Search tab.
Step 2 Search for the app you want to downgrade or upgrade.
Step 3 Tap on the app’s name to access its App Store page. Now, select the GET or the “Cloud” icon. Be sure not to long press any of these buttons.
Step 4 At this stage, App Store generally downloads the latest of the app. However, since we are using App Admin, App Store will display two options –
Step 5 Select Downgrade to access the list of all the older versions of the app. Select the version you want to go back to.
Step 6 (Optional) Alternatively, you can manually input the build number or the software version external identifier. Tap OK to start the downgrade.
For example, inputting 823821159 will upgrade Snapchat to its latest version.
Step 7 Wait for the App Store to fetch and install the app.
Step 1 Open the App Store app and go to the Updates tab.
Step 2 Open Snapchat’s page. If you want to downgrade another app, tap on it to open its App Store page.
Step 3 Long press the OPEN button to access App Admin’s menu. It will now display two options –
Step 4 If you already on the desired version and don’t want to install future updates, select Block AllUpdates.
Step 5 (Optional) If you want to downgrade an already installed app, tap on Downgrade. Select the desired version from the “Known Versions” list.
In all honesty, it is miles ahead of AppStore++, the only App Admin alternative available on Cydia.
Unlike AppStore++, it also lets you downgrade existing apps along with other options. Highly recommended.
App Admin is available for download on https://beta.unlimapps.com/ for free. It is compatible with iOS 11-11.3.1-11.4 Beta 3 and Electra jailbreak.
If the beta version doesn’t work on your device, try downloading the latest alpha version. It is available on UnlimApps’ alpha repository (https://alpha.unlimapps.com).
Check out our Facebook and Twitter pages for more Cydia releases and updates.
